Research interests

How do we integrate the intricacies of an experience into a common memory? How does the brain successfully combine contextual features processed through different senses?

I am interested in investigating the neural correlates of multifeatural encoding. I plan to explore the cortical regions that support the binding of visual and auditory information within a single study episode. Using fMRI and EEG, I will study the effects associated with the successful encoding of multiple features across multiple modalities, as well as the temporal and spatial correlates associated with their integration.
