Research interests

How does the landscape of memory change as we grow older?  How do the neural corrrelates of memory quantitatively and/or qualitatively differ in older adults?

My current research interest addresses whether these age-related differences reflect compensatory processes that help maintain memory functions or if they merely reflect changes that contribute to memory decline.
